How I build sites
A site is assembled step by step
Scroll, the site builds itself. Next to it, why every layer is there.

Step 1 / 7
The grid.
This is where everything starts. You cannot see it on a finished site, but without it everything slides around.

Step 1 / 7 · Grid
The grid.

Step 2 / 7 · Header
The header.
The menu. Four items, not fifteen. Nobody picks from fifteen, they leave.
Step 3 / 7 · Headline
The headline.
You have three seconds for someone to understand where they landed.
Step 4 / 7 · Subheadline
The subheadline.
A couple of lines that answer “is this even for me?”
Step 5 / 7 · Button
The button.
One. If you put five, nobody clicks any of them.
Step 6 / 7 · Image
The image.
A picture sells faster than text, which is why it is here.
Step 7 / 7 · Cards
The cards.
Three cards is the optimal number. More gets tiring, fewer looks suspicious.
Every site is assembled this way, only the content changes.
